Booking In

You should ensure you are booked in before leaving, as the site is very secure and only prebooked acccess iss allowed. You must bring government-issued photographic ID such as a passport or UK Driving Licence.

Final Configuration

Before colocating your server you need to set it up so you can access it remotely. Linux servers will generally need ssh enabled, while Windows servers need the necessary permissions and services running. Make sure your firewall, if configured, will grant you access! Should you get stuck, we have an IP-accessible bookable KVM that can be connected to your server, and remote hands are available at any time.

Travelling to the Datacentre

Remember to bring the server, rails and any equipment needed to mount the rails (such as a screwdriver). We generally provide all the cabling, so you don't need power or network cables. We don't recommend front bezels (they fall off or get accidentally locked) or cable tidy arms. You must install your server on rack rails, any servers mounted on shelves or loose will be repositioned and charged for.
