An IP KVM allows you to connect to a server remotely - but instead of using SSH or Remote Desktop, the IP KVM allows you to use the local screen, keyboard and mouse - anywhere in the world! This can be very useful when you need to diagnose network faults or change IP settings, or update the system kernel; any task which might require a number of reboots or changes to hardware RAID.
